Frequently Asked Questions

What is a system conversion?

The system conversion is the last step in completing our merger with CommunityAmerica. This is when Electro systems and products will be integrated into CommunityAmerica’s, allowing for a smooth and seamless banking experience for all members. Once complete, you’ll be able to fully experience the CommunityAmerica difference, including enhanced digital banking, expanded branch locations and hours, and a larger team of friendly faces here to serve your needs.

What will happen to my accounts and loans?

As part of the system conversion, your Electro Savings accounts will transition to CommunityAmerica accounts. Most accounts will be very similar to what you are used to. Refer to your Welcome Booklet for information on how your products will be affected. You can always contact us with any questions you may have.

Your loan rates, terms and payment amounts will not change as part of the merge process. We will communicate any changes regarding loan servicing and payment process to you well in advance.

Will my account number(s) change?

Yes, all you will receive a new CommunityAmerica account number for all your accounts in late May.

Yes, you will need to update your direct deposit information to your new CommunityAmerica account number beginning June 2. Do not update your direct deposit until after June 2.

Will my direct deposit still go to my account on June 2?

Yes. For a short time, direct deposits to your current Electro Savings account will automatically be redirected to your new CommunityAmerica account. However, starting June 2, you’ll need to update your direct deposit information as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions.

  • Once the conversion is complete, you will need to update automatic or recurring payments with your new card information. You’ll also want to update your mobile wallet with your new card information for quick, easy and secure purchases.
