Helping Local Veteran Families Have a Happier Thanksgiving

Electro employees donated money to help five St. Louis area Veteran families in November. The donations were raised through a program called Gratitude Grams. The grams were available for purchase for $1 each during November and were used to send fellow employees messages of appreciation for one another. All the proceeds from the sales combined with donations to wear jeans during the week of November 6, totaled $500.

Mike LeBlanc, Veterans Services Officer and Commander of the 10th District of the American Legion in Missouri, picked up and delivered five $100 Visa gift cards to the families just before Thanksgiving. "Our veterans and their families sacrifice so much for us through their service. Working with Mike LeBlanc to help support them in times of need is one way we can give back and express our gratitude," says Laura Mugge, Community Engagement Manager at Electro.
